The Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea Community Campaign
The partners of the Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea Conservation Initiative launched a Community Campaign to raise funds for land conservation. The goal was to raise a total of $10 million in gifts of cash, land, and conservation easements so that the partners could build upon the existing 11,000 acres of protected land and open space in the region’s six towns of Wells, Ogunquit, South Berwick, York, Eliot, and Kittery.

The campaign ended in December of 2006, and raised over $17 million towards the protection of 2,500 new acres in the Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea Region.

But there is much more work to be done. With your help, we will continue protecting lands for drinking water supplies, recreation, traditional livelihoods, and wildlife.
