At the corner of South Berwick and Cape Neddick, three conservation lands border each other — Great Works Regional Land Trust’s Kimball Farm North Preserve, the privately owned Hilton-Winn Farm and York Land Trust’s Hilton-Winn Preserve — encompassing approximately 280 acres. Together, Great Works, York Land Trust, and Nancy Breen, owner of Hilton-Winn Farm, developed a trail network that threads throughout these three properties.
“This project is an example of what can be accomplished when people work together: three organizations, three properties, four towns, and a new trail network that connects them all. It’s all about the collaboration and connections,” said Great Works Regional Land Trust stewardship director Darrell DeTour of the development of the trail network….
